The Alma Inn Wedding Photography

Phillipa, Freddie and Dash where married right at the dawn of spring and were lucky enough to have their day filled with the sharpest low sun all day. We started the day at home with La Bella Boutique on Hair duty www.facebook.com/labellaboutiquehair/ before taking the wedding campervan to St Stephen’s Church in Skipton. They held their reception at the Alma Inn in Colne. The Alma Inn is a great smaller wedding venue with amazing views well suited to couples wanting a more cosy intimate feel whilst having the whole place to yourself. We made the most of the surrounding countryside with Phillipa being extremely ‘wedding dress fearless’ all day. With wellies on she braved water, mud and sheep to create a set of pictures with a natural and country feel. Wedding photography can be at it’s most challenging on super bright days but I was able to keep my #noartificialadditives approach by seeking out the best spots for pictures even if that did mean shooting wedding portraits at Wycoller country park in the middle of a fell race, or traversing ankle deep mud to reach the best view of the sunset!
